OVERSEAS GAMES IN IRAQ/AFGHANISTAN

I think it would be a decent gesture by the FA and the Clubs, if a game was played in Iraq and a game in Afghanistan, for the troops serving over there. Need not be a Premier League Competitive match, but a pre-season or post season friendly. As a morale booster.

Anyone seen that Ross Kemp in Afghanistan programme? There is no chance multi million pounds worth of players will go anywhere near those 2 countries

Hold on lads lads not be too hasty in dismissing this - I am all for it and I think it should be done straight away starting with this seasons carling cup final

People misjudged me before thats all

Dont worry my "intense personality" will return again very soon - in some ways it easier to mellow when all your transfer windows are gone for the season and you know that rightly or wrongly you are going to have to soldier on with what we have got

Plus because I dont give a flying fcuk about the internationals I practically switch off during the breaks from the league games. Facing a hectic few weeks now and hope the wheels dont fall off again like last season.

Just heard this morning that the fcuking air traffic controllers in Ireland are going on strike which will cause major probs for the next 2 weeks which is fcuking typical with me going over for the milan game next week

I did write this as a serious post. They used to send comedians out to the troops in World War Two to do shows. But if it's comedy they want then the Newcastle defence should be able to supply that.

You know that the super-rich and famous footballers would be "trophy-heads" for Al-Qaeda. It is far too unsafe for footballers and they wouldn't agree.
