As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
To say that Lehmann did not play a bigger part than the rest of the players is hilarious. You are right in a way though. Clichy's and Eboue's attempts to ruine it were just as vital and important as Lehmann's outstanding attempts to save it.
The fact remains that international experts and fans all over the world disagreed with you which proves that you are simply a fan who's judgement has been clouded because he can't get over the CL final, something that was the ultimate rarity for international bottlers like Arsenal anyway.
Oh, and please hit me with the full force of your amazing discussion skills. No need to hold back for stupid non native speakers. I do suspect though that this is all you got.

Did flamini not play left back for most of the games

Yep. But hey you know these know-all German fans and all their international experts!!

You get funnier with each Lehmann worshipping post!
Clouded judgement? You should READ what you write! I am a realist, I don't view Lehmann with rose tinted spectacles, I view him as what he was; A good (not great) keeper who was error prone, made bad decisions regularly and was PART OF a great team, but not the most significant part by any stretch of the imagination.
And for one so well knowledged in the team and that CL run (and backed up by international experts!!) I am surprised, nay, STUNNED by the Clichy slip!!
I take it by your "international bottlers like Arsenal" comment you are not a supporter of the club but rather a German WUM with a Lehmann fixation? Answer the question.

Yeah and Cole played the final

He means the semi-final when Clichy gave the last minute penalty away and Jens saved it.

Well, that's true as well.
I think bookproject has missed the essential point. Lehmann hasn't played football for 8 months - and he's 41. Now, I guess that when you get to 41, the ease with which one can resume top flight football in one of the best leagues in the world , is open to question.
It doesn't really matter what he's done over the last 3 years. The fact that many people aren't screaming louder than they are, is because of the alternative (average al).
Perhaps bookproject, as he's not an Arsenal fan, hasn't seen as many Arsenal games that Lehmann has played as we have - so his while his area of expertise in knowing his Stuttgart form is greater, I would bet his area of experise in Lehmann's Arsenal experiences is not as great.
Lehmann did make a significant contribution to us being in the final, but somewhat negated that by his sending-off. Others, such as Flamini, made far more significant contributions during our entire campaign that season.

Why do we want to bring him into it? He's hardly going to make things better, is he?
You are of course right marc. But I'm enjoying watching DB10 get his ass handed to him over his language and debating skills by our German pal.
