As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I didn't want to throw the baby out with the bath water.
He would still play a big part in the buying and selling but was thinkng about a new coach getting the best out of the squad through better motivation and tactics.
I have just heard on Sky Sports news that he thinks yesterdays come back will give us mental strength to go on and win the title....
WHAT THE F*CK IS HE ON. Was he watching a different game to me?
It showed that we are simply not strong enough. He had the opportunity to buy a keeper and centre backs, but instead let his ego once again get in the way.

With respect I'd like a new approach to buying and selling that has nothing to do with Wenger at all. We need players who are mentally strong who take responsibility on the pitch rather than the mentally weak ones we have at present. It's time for a new approach and a new manager needs complete freedom to do so.

I agree.
One of the major issues we have is with the transfer policy, so why should Wenger still be involved in this when his signings, or lack of over the last few years has has been abismal.

Thats the big problem. He doesnt buy quality and he wont sell the dross. No manager would come to our club with Wenger still there. The only thing that should remain is the bust of Wenger
I can't see the board sacking him so there has to be some sort of compromise to move us forward.
Everyone is sick of the excuses and can see that AW is in denial.
Unless he acknowledges the situation for what it is we are fucked.
Problem at this stage of the season is that the mistakes and misfortunes have happened so he has to get the team through to the end and then make changes.
He has dealt himself a shit hand and he has to play it.
Wenger is in denial. He blames all our faults on everyone but himself. He is not going to change because it would mean admiting the last 5 years of Project Wenger was wasted.
Almunia should never have played for us again after the Birmingham game last season.Yet he started the season as number 1 and then after his cock ups v WBA earlier on in the season he is our keeper for the run in.Just because Wenger would not buy a keeper.
Nothing will change while Wenger is manager get used to it
From 2006 till now he just keep making the same old mistakes, saying the same old deluded stuff and sitting there and watching the team throwing away upteem chances of winning matches and trophies. No one in a sane state of mind would ever do what he keep doing
Why would we want rid of Wenger, hes the only manager who can throw away the possibility of 4 trophies to winning fuck all in the sapce of about 3 weeks, who else could do that? Arsene knows

I would say that he shouldn't have played for us ever again after the Man U home game 6 seasons ago... I think it may have been the *word censored* debut..
