Hleb is a legend and worthy of his MOTM award this evening. Did anyone else see the interview on Setanta when Ade awarded Hleb the bottle of plonk, he said don't drink it all as we have to play mancs at weekend....Was nice to see them so relaxed and happy.

Yeah, they're coping with the stress of being on top of the league and getting £60,000 a week well, aren't they?

Agreed. Blackburn could/should have equalised at least twice in the last 10 minutes or so.

By the way, who was that sat next to RvP?
That was his best mate Ryan Babel.

I didnt really think they threatened all that much to be honest. But yeah it was tense. I thought Ade had a off day even though he scored, gave the ball away on a number of occasions. Flamster was amazing again, Gilberto played well, Hleb was brilliant and deserved a goal.

Anyone else hear the Director's radio over the Setanta commentators last night??! Was giving the commentators things to say!

I heard

Benni Macarthy is wandering around doing nothing in midfield and Jon Champion wants to look at the Arsenal First Team coach, he is guy in glasses! heard a few others too was hilarious

I heard those comments. He said about Boro Primavic (probably spelt wrong) and John Champion wanting to speak to him, then shortly afterwards the cameras cut to him and he was described as 'Arsene's silent partner'.

Setanta are total shit compared to sky, ITV or the BBC. I don't know if it is just my reception but I often get some ghosting on that channel. No other channel is affected by it though.

Setanta really highlighted the late return of so many of our "fans" after half time - it was sooooo embarrassing

Am I reading this correctly about Ade getting motm ? How in gods name did he get it ? I thought he had a fucking 'mare last night and I would have subbed him long before his goal (which was a great finish by the way). I thought he looked like the ade of old (& that aint good  )

Did anyone else notice our subs bench last night ? A keeper, a striker and 3 full backs ??? I know it was mentioned lately about a sub standard bench but last night was shocking

Augie, yet again you're talking shit. How dare you question the depth of our squad? Fabianski, Traore, Hoyte, Gilbert and Bendtner is as strong a bench as any...maybe not yet, but given the right amount of experience in Carling Cup games, and a few loan spells at Norwich City, they could well turn out to be the next Steve Sidwells! With this promising and exciting talent on the bench, I see no reason why we can't secure a 14th title!

Oh wait...

Augie Alex Hleb won MOTM as been stated in this thread it was a disgrace how many late comers from half time came in!! but at least most stayed to the end this time,

I've notice the guys who turn up late are the same guys who leave ten minutes before the end of the half and 10 minutes in the second half and there the same people who leave 10 minutes early as well so they watch about 50-55 minutes of football, you wouldnt leave with 10 minutes left of a film at the cinema would you?
