Other weekend games

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

No point denying the truth is there. There was never any glimpse of a way in. We're 8 points behind and deservedly so.
Aye, and you ain't half loving it, aren't you?

Mate, West Ham were 2-0 up at half time - how is that not a glimpse of a way in?? - You my not have been bitterly disappointed, but I can assure you MANY of us are. Seriously, the negativity and distain you have towards Arsenal beggars belief.

As for "denying the truth" - wtf?? it's actually needlessly stating the obvious. Of course ManUre are a decent team - they're top of the league and could yet win the Champions League and FA Cup, too. We know all about ManUre, so why the ***** fest when you know full well gooners are hurting?? - it's antagonistic and unneccesary, and is typical of the shite you've spouting all fucking season. Remember your comments about wishing serious injury on Koscielny?? - mate, you're just a nasty piece of work who revels in all this. It's disgusting.
Finally! Thank fuck it's not just me that sees through IrishGooner's wanky posts! Seriously, watch how everytime that we have drawn/lost/nicked a lucky win, sure enough IG is the first on here saying how great Utd and Chelsea are and how shit we are.

I've never seen someone revel as much as in belittling his own club; other than donaldo of course who never passes up an opportunity to have a dig at the club

See here's where I disagree. Dio you think we won the league three times from 1998-2005 and finished top two each year and won seven trophies against the manager's will?

The fact is the Board's Chairman has stated publicly several times in the last six years that he does not care that we go trophyless.

Yes they are both to bleame but nothing weill change no matter what until the Board are pressured to change or until frankly they have cashed in and left and who knows what will be left of Arsenal by then really?.At least in terms of what had actually been built here from 1998-2005.
Almunia was brought from Celta Viga reserves by Wenger in 2005.I blame the board for a lot but not that
There is plenty to criticize him for. The point I am making is thatlot of that you could criticze him for from 1998-2005, but the club's ambition masked it then. The investment in higher proven quality both in the first eleven and the squad as a whole covered up a lot of his deficiencies in how he managed.

I just think that the bigger problem is the lack ofm ambition we have shown since 2005 every year on the ppitch and in the transfer market. I think it can be corrected but who will correct it when no one in the club seems to feel any need or desire to do so?

Maybe this is the problem.

Having a dig at the way the club is run is questioning why the people run it this way is not an attack on Arsenal. nor the Club - it is a criticism of those people and their policies - be they the Manager, the Board, or Both together.

Again do we not believe that no man is bigger than the club in football? I have to say it seems some supporters are forgetting that here and now.

Do be quiet Marty. There's a difference between criticising the clubs policies/ personnel, and actively taking every opportunity to sing our rivals praises whilst never missing a chance to make a dig at your own team.

Wouldn't expect you to understand the difference though so it's best that you just stick to your petition for now Marty.

Now you're being silly. Fairly obviously this is the most tolerant forum out there. It's just tedious reading thread after thread of personal insults.
