Other weekend games

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Now you're being silly. Fairly obviously this is the most tolerant forum out there. It's just tedious reading thread after thread of personal insults.
You're telling me monostich, for example, wasn't banned for less?
He was a manc and crossed a line that was too much even for here.
He was a manc which obviously contributed but he was ultimately banned (and I was in favour of his banning) for deliberately winding members up when he knew he would get a reaction while offering nothing constructive in the process.

My ex-girlfriend's father came up to me in the street with a baseball bat. He beat me with it until I fell over, then he started kicking my head in. Then he said "I can't believe you asked my little girl to do such things. You're perverse, you know that? PERVERSE." Then he spat on me and stamped down hard on my nuts. Unbelievable.
But very arousing.

Some girl I shagged a while back text me saying "Boy do you have thick sperm!"

I text back "Why? Can you still feel it stuck in your throat?"

"No", she replied " I'm pregnant and it has downs syndrome"

An Englishman, a Frenchman, a Spaniard and a German are all standing watching a street performer do some excellent juggling. The juggler notices that the four gentlemen have a very poor view, so he stands up on a large wooden box and calls out, "Can you all see me now?"
"Yes."
"Oui."
"Sí."
"Ja."

I've never seen someone revel as much as in belittling his own club; other than donaldo of course who never passes up an opportunity to have a dig at the club
Maybe this is the problem.

Having a dig at the way the club is run is questioning why the people run it this way is not an attack on Arsenal. nor the Club - it is a criticism of those people and their policies - be they the Manager, the Board, or Both together.

Again do we not believe that no man is bigger than the club in football? I have to say it seems some supporters are forgetting that here and now.
Do be quiet Marty. There's a difference between criticising the clubs policies/ personnel, and actively taking every opportunity to sing our rivals praises whilst never missing a chance to make a dig at your own team.

Wouldn't expect you to understand the difference though so it's best that you just stick to your petition for now Marty.
No I won't engage in a flaimng war, but I will say I suspect you are talking of yourself above not knowing the difference.

Right then a red for the West Ham player that handled as well also. Or does that not fit your agenda?

Grow up son

I've just given my opinion on the game, and since it doesnt conform to saying the referee was a disgrace and United only won because of him, I should be banned.

Do you realise how silly you sound? You and the others are the ones getting personal, not me.

I mean seriously, you lot seem to think the referee won United the game today, and they should have been down to 9 men.

Dont spout shite and not expect t be picked up on it.

West Ham one wasn't a pen as you have already said and it wasn't a goal scoring opportunity anyway.

Yes they did destroy West Ham today as you have said in ur five fingered shuffle over them

But lets not forget sending offs and goals change games - Manure seem to get the dodgy calls in their favour more often than not.

Evra is a *word censored* and should always be sent off whenever possible.

On a final point Utd can't be that great coz if we weren't the biggest shower of bottling no heart bastards that we are - we'd be well clear this year.

Im not claiming anything of the sort. Look back to (i think) page 2 and you will see me defend the Vidic decision. The only ridiculous decision was the penalty for man yoo's third but they probably would have won the game at that point regardless.

So on this one, i actually agree with you. Yet somehow i dont feel the urge to bait other forum members who disagree with me. I wonder why that is?

Oh yeah, because im not a WUM.

IG, I don't have any "history" with you so don't see this as me behind personnal. I'm not calling for anyone to be banned.

But! No I don't think the ref won ManUre the game, but I think he helped them, with the penalty for example. Yes I think that refs help ManUre more often than not, but no I don't think the game is cheated. ManU have a very good fighting spirit and tend to put themselves in these kind of situations. They often put themselves in a situation where the ref has to react. I just wish that sometimes the ref would not buy it and let the game go on, especially as most of the time ManUre are favorites so they shouldn't get the soft treatment.
For me ManU are top of the table and good for them, but looking at the season, they don't deserve to be up there more than us or chavs. They have offered some poor spectacles on few occasions this season, but unlike us or Chavs, when they under-perform the ref usually helps them. He doesn't win them the game, but he helps them.
