Booing last night

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The players are a product of the team management from AW.

His continued stubbornness whilst the club stagnates and even goes backwards is the board's fault.

Booing the players will get us no where.

If you've had enough, stay at home, no one would blame you and it would hurt our bean counting club more than a few boos

The booing was done after the game so cant see how it would affect the players or performance. Is booing any worse than the ironic cheers everytime below average al catches a ball ?

Personally I am 100% in support of the principle that allows fans to voice their displeasure and I am also in total agreement with it being done yesterday 8) I made the point recently (mind you that caused some rumpus afterwards  ) that you wouldnt tolerate shit service as a customer in a restaurant or any other consumer based industry so why should this be any different ? Football is a consumer business now so dont kid yourself thinking anything different cos all we are now is customers but sadly we are the worst type of customers.......we are the customers whose loyalty is taken for granted cos they know we wont go and support anybody else

Also should say that I feel it is high time the board, manager and players find out just how pissed off and frustrated we fans are. Forget winning trophies the very least we deserve, especially when you consider the financial outlay, is for each and every employee to bust a gut to bring success to this club - do people believe that we are getting that ? The manager and players are on easy street and if the people running our club from the posh seats are not going to shake them out of their slumber then we sure as hell will try to do so
Terrific post.

Two points though.

First, none of us are the worst type of customers. Loyalty, even misplaced, is a virtue. The real seem is in taking that loyalty for granted or worse even using that loyalty to take advantage of us and decieve us.

Second, its not the manager and players whose attention we need to get and shake from their slumber, it's the people running the club from the posh seats. Only when they feel the pressure to make any changes will anyone else feel the pressure to do so. Whehther the solution is as some believe to sack the manager now, or as some believe to make it clear to the Manager that if he does not use the resources at this disposal now his job will be at stake, ot as some beleive to genuinely make the needed resources available to the Manager it will start from the Board Room and only if those in the Board Room feel pressured to start it.
For that reason I believe the booing was a very good way of stiring things. It's a proof of general disappointment and it acts as shaking the tree where the manager, the board, the staff and the players stand.
Why try to single out any culprit when in, the end, lets be honnest, we as fans know nothing of what unfold behind closed curtains? We're not supportig Arsenal to play Detective anf try to find out who messes up with the club. We're here to say "sort it out!" when it's needed.

In fact, may I go as far to say that if an Arsenalland would have ever existed, it would be our duty as citizens of Arsenalland to get out in the streets ad voice our discontent over the current government. Fellow Arsenalers, we have our rights! They cannot raise taxes each year and never give in return! The people of Arsenalland need to get up and stand against these vultures that reign this country! This money, our money, is meant to be for materials and goods, not to go in their pocket! While our ministers get fat we struggle to make a living! The Denilson's, the Diaby's, the Bender's, the Squillaci's, the Almunia's... This is not the country I want my child to grow in! Takes your forks, light your torches, fellow Arsenalers... And raise your arms to the sound of revolt!!!
The moon might shine red but by sunrise their heads will "throne" on top of our spears!!! :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Yeah and maybe NATO will back us up with precision air strikes on Denilson and Bendtner's motors as they roll past the Tollington

From Arsene Wenger on Saturdays match..................

on whether the crowd will stick with the team...
That is not our concern, we are responsible for our performances and for our attitude, not for the attitude of anybody else.

this is how out of touch the old fucker is now.
No we aint sticking with this team cos it aint good enough and never will be and we have fucking well had enough!!!

I honestly can't remember if I booed or not, I was so angry and disappointed at the crap served up by those overpaid pussies. My mate certainly did, load and clear.

During the Rocky memorial I actually had to fight back the tears, but I thought there is no way this team can failed ot be inspired by his memory. How wrong I was and how angry that made me.

Anyway, I've got my own individual protest ready for the last game of the season, if we are confirmed potless again.

we should boo as loud and with as much vitriol as we can muster.its obvious after spending years waiting for it and then spending a grand plus for a season ticket you love the club and wont miss many matches ,so to expect a boycott is folly.so how the hell are you supposed to make your feelings known?.perhaps and i mean this in all sincerity everyone should throw an old scarf on the pitch.what ever we do we mustnt carry on in this appeaseing way .

Thats a good idea!!! Everyone throw away an Arsenal Scarf, Hat or shirt . Throw it on the pitch and if you cant throw it in front of you so someone else can throw it on the pitch.

I am disgusted with the club and more so with the manager. I want him out and I am not alone on this.

Sick of it!

When they're doing their lap of appreciation, stay and turn your backs on them when they approach your corner of the ground.

Or piss on them
