As courageous and brave as every British soldier was in World War Two I don't think England could have held off Hitler indefinitely on its own. That is not some condemnation of the character or courage of nation of England or the English - or Scottish or Northern Irish or Welsh Soldier - just a statement of likely reality
My point is people like you show not a jot of gratitude or appreciation for that, or the fact that we stayed and helped defend Western Europe against overwhelming Communist Bloc forces.
I never insulted the English solder at all. I said without U. S. Help England likely would have fallen in World War two. You went out of your way to insult the American soldier. I think you should make a point of walking up to next American Soldier you see and tell them what you posted here and stick around long enough to see what they think.
