JUST SEEN REVISITA DE LA LIGA ON SKY SPORTS (REPEATED TONIGHT ON SKY SPORTS 1 AT 10PM) AND IN THEIR TRANSFER RUMOURS ROUND-UP, THEY SHOWED A (FAKE) PICTURE OF CESC IN A BARCA SHIRT WITH A HEADLINE CLAIMING CESC WANTS TO LEAVE THE ARSENAL IN THE SUMMER!!
THANKFULLY, THE SPANISH EXPERT GUILLAM WHATSHISNAME (SORRY ABOUT SPELLING) SAID IT WAS ABSOLUTE RUBBISH AND THAT CESC WAS GETTING PISSED OFF WITH THE SPANISH MEDIA MAKING UP STORIES EVERYTIME HE GOES HOME FOR AN INTERNATIONAL.
HE CORRECTLY STATED THAT FABREGAS STILL HAS 6 YEARS OF HIS EXISTING CONTRACT TO RUN AND THAT THE YOUNGSTER HAS MADE IT CLEAR HE WOULD HAPPILY SIGN AN EXTENSION IF OFFERED IT BECAUSE HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES PLAYING FOR THE CLUB.
Spanish clubs have no respect for other clubs. In their elections, they always start saying who they'll buy and from where; which in result unsettles clubs and players. I am sure that Cesc isn't going anywhere, we are doing brilliantly and he said Wenger is key to his career in Arsenal.
We have seen this before, unfortunatly the players who have been linked to Italian and Spanish clubs have generally been transfered eventually.Lucky for us they were players who were gettin a little bit old for AW,so he had no problem selling them,.

I agree that Cesc will leave us in the future but Ronaldo will leave Man Utd as well. I think many talented players these days want to play in two big clubs. It is not the case of leaving for Spain for Cesc and Ronaldo as some may think. For example, I think Messi will leave Barcelona in the future as he'll want to taste something different; same applies to many young players. Although, it'd be great if they were more world-class one-club players in the future but I don't think players will have that much loyalty, also most will want a new challenge.
As Arsenal fans we have come to except this every summer,We had it with Paddy and Thierry. The big problem when we did sell both of them was we sold them on the cheap.Henry was sold for the same price the Spuds paid for Bent.
I long for the day when we go after the likes of Kaka and Messi(and then i wake up)

Donaldo I think it will be more of a chance that we will go after messi's 6 year old brother and kaka's yet to be born son
