Suprised that so many of you are so stupid and short sighted.
Stan Kron does not have enough cash (real money) to finance a takeover.
His value of £2billion is mainly made up of Assets.
his purchase of the club will be financed by loan. That loan
like Man City, Chelsea etc etc, will involve the club. i.e Man Utd
That debt will be put on to the club. Whats good about that?
As desperate as some of you seem to want wenger out, please look at the bigger picture. This is a very sad day for Arsenal Football Club.
and before you start slagging of the Hill-Wood Family Arsenal as you see it today would not be what it is, if it was not for them. show a little respect and grace.

I suggest you do your homework on him then mate. Every sporting institution he's owned has been very successful. The Nuggets, The Rams etc.Rugby Gooner wrote:Great! Now we will have 20 more years of Wenger and FOOTBALL stagnation! All that American wanker cares about is making money! Why do you think that Hill-Woods etc welcomed him with open arms! The days of Arsenal Football Club winning anything,(other than stock market plaudits),are over. This is a black day in the history of Arsenal Football Club!!!1989 wrote:Absolutely good news mate. As Finsbury Park said, he'll load the club up with debt like Glazer as he doesn't have the funds to finance a takeover himself unless he sells some of his assets. I fear it could be another Glazer takeover take II, and Wenger will have an excuse now not to spend as he'll claim we're financially hamstrung due to the debt loaded on us by Kroenke1989 wrote:I suggest you do your homework on him then mate. He just took over The Rams but they haven't reached the NFL play-offs since '04.....Bring Back Pires wrote:They may be financially successful, but when was the last time that the Nuggets or Rams actually won a championship? Or were even in the late stages of their respective tournaments?1989 wrote:Every sporting institution he's owned has been very successful. The Nuggets, The Rams etc.

The Nuggets have made the play-offs every season since '04 but never made the NBA finals. AKA not won anything. Bit like us

Mr Finsbury Park Gooner is spot on I'm afraid. Kroenke is wealthy on paper due to his assets - most of which are other sporting ventures. He will have to sell these or borrow heavily to raise the amount of money needed to but Arsenal outright.
The most likely scenario is a Glazer style, debt leveraged takeover as due to his good track record and his assets, several banks will be willing to advance him the hundreds of millions needed. Just like Gillette and Hicks at Liverpool . . . . . . . .
But ask yourself this people - what are Kroenke's intentions??????????
Nobody knows do they?? He has been involved with us for 4 years in which time he has seen no more than 2 games and he has made not one single announcement about his long-term views.
All I can see is more of the same with the same old faces in place. I can't see how this can be good news for Arsenal.

Off topic but Hill-Wood would do well to afford the same respect and grace to us, he wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for fans.Mr FINSBURY PARK GOONER wrote: Before you start slagging of the Hill-Wood Family, Arsenal as you see it today would not be what it is, if it was not for them. show a little respect and grace.
The guy has a fantastic record when it comes to sport teams both the playing ANDthe financial side. Not to mention he's spent over 4 years at the club so must have an idea of what Arsenal is all about. Change is good and we've been crying out for it, so lets embrace it. Bit of positivity won't harm.
