Unlikely as it seems I want us to win it before them & the fact that Abramovich is so desperate for it & the amount of money he's spent trying to win it, makes it all the funnier every time they fail.LeftfootlegendGooner wrote:I loathe manure more than any other club, don't hate chelsea really at all, if they went on to win the cl surely it would push Arsenal on to win it too.Dan_85 wrote:LeftfootlegendGooner wrote:I'd rather chelsea win tbhworthing gooner wrote:CSKA London........
Maybe next year!!!!
Plus, the more games Utd have to play can only benefit us in the title race, what with fatigue & possible injuries. Of course we're bound to screw it up still, but we can hope!

Yeah, don't get me wrong I want us to be the first London club to win it but I don't think we even seriously try to win it. Now that may sound a bit extreme but to win the CL surely you need to build a squad better than Barcas, reals, manures etc and we just aren't building anything near that level imo.
Hence if we really do need a shove and it takes chelsea to win it for the Arsenal to wake up and actually have a go at it proper then so be it, necessary evils and all that.
Don't think so coz the semi dates are already set and it was only if they were playing on Tuesday and they are not (I think)mike wrote:If United go through, does our game with them get pushed back to the Saturday at 12:45? I'm sure i read that....
They might request to play on saturday to get extra day rest - we better tell them to fuck off if so - coz have already booked flights
AFC response will be... "Certainly. Which day is most convenient for you to come & win the title at the Wengerdome?"Peeman wrote:Don't think so coz the semi dates are already set and it was only if they were playing on Tuesday and they are not (I think)mike wrote:If United go through, does our game with them get pushed back to the Saturday at 12:45?
