Pre match drinks saturday

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

From AISA

DRINKING - we've heard away fans are okay to drink in the Bridge at Sale (two stops from Old Trafford on the Metro). Otherwise the best bet is probably a city centre pub, such as the Knott Bar, 374 Deansgate, The Peveril of the Peak and the Rain Bar both in Great Bridgewater Street or the White Lion, 43 Liverpool Road.

I've heard it does actually...

Only ever been there for a couple of games. Never sampled the nightlife. I've got a mate at uni there, she reckons it's a really good laugh out there on a weekend.

The night before a big match I dont think it would be a good idea as Londoners tend to stick out a bit
