Damage to Wembley dressing room

Damage to Wembley dressing room

Post by Rugby Gooner »

Apparently a member of Man Utds staff caused some damage in the home dressing room at Wembley in the aftermath of their defeat in the F.A Cup semi final.According to the BBC news, the club has apologised and offered to pay for the damage, but is that good enough? If any ordinary football fan was proved to,(or admitted to),causing damage at a football ground, how would they be treated?

Non story for me. Players show passion, anger, dissapointment? Whatever next?

Wish a few of our layabouts would kick a hole in a wall or two. And one in Comedy Eboue's head.

True. remember when Freddy got sent off at Shite Hart Lane and kicked a huge hole in the dressing room door? Yes we used to have players with passion

I've never wrecked a dressing room as such but did puke all over one after an ill-advised game of footy following a night of heavy drinking and dodgy chinese food for breakfast. 8)

Why bother get angry about a result of a poxy football match? You're still getting your Ferraril some go faster stripes in the morning, all's cool. Plus later you can tell all your tweeps about dinner at Nando's with ya best mate and what a laugh you all had despite another FUCKING SPINELESS INEPT PATHETIC LOSER PERFORMANCE the day before.

I see what you,and Flash, are saying, but I was just trying to point out the double standards. If a supporter "showed passion" and kicked a hole in a wall or trashed a seat etc, they would be hauled in front of the beak. By the way it wasn't a player who caused the damage,it was apparently a member of their management team.

Good point. And true. But then the modern footballer can get away with murder. Double standards are here to stay.

If it was a "staff member" I'm thinking it was old Rednose himself!

Hate that chant..sums them up.. It was a player who did it, Berbatov done it in the 32nd minute when one on one with the keeper.

Cracked me up when I read this story on the BBC site, how is it even news?! :?

So there's a 3 inch hole in a wall at Wembley but none of the Utd players or staff were responsible apparently :? :? Great. I've got a 6 inch hole in my bedroom wall, come write a story about that! Twice the size, twice the excitement!

Christ.
