ENGLISH CLUBS IN EUROPE

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Not sure they will get beat to be honest with you. They're playing that shower who we beat 7-0 aren't they?

I reckon they'll win 6-5!

I never want an english team to win, nor do I want the national team to win, in fact I don't care about any other team! Sometimes I'll get behind another team if they've got an ex-gooner playing for them who left without slagging off the team (eg Pires, Vieira).

hmm, well i'd say i dont mind seeing teams like Everton do well, seeing as they're not exactly a threat to us, hate seeing man u or chelsea do well, but weirdly have a soft spot for Liverpool in Europe and like to see them win as long as its not at our expense - dunno why but i'm a woman so it doesnt have to be logical! :P

I absolutely hate Everton and never want them to do well! Never! Fucking Mickey Mousers! It all stems from a bad trip up there a few years back culminating in a 2-0 defeat. Everything about the day went from bad to worse so I always want them to loose. Most other clubs I can get behind though.

What happened? Did they go into full cliche mode and steal your hubcaps?

Can never cheer on manure spuds or chavs in any comp - ALWAYS want them to lose. Anyone else I don't mind too much...

Jaysus, remember 99? We had to beat Villa and the spud losers had to beat manure for us to win the title? Someone had "We support t*ttenham until 5.30" (or some similar shit) written on a banner... Muppets   . If I could've got a hold of that poxy banner...

I wanted us to win (obviously) but even when the spuds scored  I couldn't cheer - I hate them that much - but also partly due to the fact that I just knew they would f*ck it up... Wankers proved me right too... wankers. :x
