As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Purchased this week by The Royal Emirates Group, owned by some Sheikh with too much money & to be renamed "Team Dubai", possibly as soon as Thursday
Disgusting really. Yeah, we probably aren't their biggest fans thanks to that ex-spud Nayim but it's another move away from football & towards pure business I wouldn't be surprised to see a "Team Vodafone" or similar playing in the CL within 20 years.
100% genuine sadly. Zaragoza, founded in 1932, will have basically their entire history stripped away if this goes through. Absolute pisstake & a kick in the balls to their supporters. Sadly the precedent is there already in the shape of Red Bull Salzburg.
