i think ManUre could win nothing

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

I don't think I'm the only one who thinks that with statements like this JD, you come across as a bit thick. It's not even the opinion or your viewpoint. Sorry, I can't sugar coat it, its just an idiotic thing for you to say. on so many levels.

One word - context. I think that explains it all.

There is more than one context
Expectation v Reality equals serious disappointment
but the main context is this years league table, at the moment we are 2nd

We are all gutted (apart from those who want us to lose) but clearly where we are is not disastrous
We have failed to win a trophy, so will most teams.

By this logic do I take it that you will remain happy if we slip down the table so long as we don't go as far down as 11'th :?

So long as there are more teams in a worse of position than us in the league all is wonderful

:sunshine_happy:

Strange, very strange indeed.

Just makes you sound more idiotic, mate.

If you don't get it, then I guess you really are that blinkered.

I don't get it, I don't even know what it is
Whilst hopes alive I will hope

I believe we could lose tonight and still challenge
seems most on here are Almunias who concede at the first sign of adversity
