This was our team-sheet in this very match this time last season

Almunia, Sagna, Campbell, Vermaelen, Clichy, Eboue, Diaby, Denilson, Rosicky, Bendtner, Nasri.

Subs: Fabianski, Eduardo, van Persie, Walcott, Silvestre, Merida, Eastmond

Only 3 members (Sagna, Clichy & Nasri) of that starting 11 will begin the match tonight :-P

We'll hammer these c*nts tonight

This is an undeniable fact.

So. Why the fuck should we not get a decent win there?
Because we are a bunch of bottlers. :(

I agree with this - I doubt if many Gooners would disagree that on ability alone our best 11 is better than their best 11 but we have shown nothing to suggest that we can withstand an onslaught if they come at us :( We shit ourselves sunday when we only had 2 minutes to hold out v the bin dippers so what chances of us holding out for 90 + mins ? I simply do not believe this team has the ability to hold the scum scoreless tonight

If arseblog is right about wilshire being rested tonight then a bad result should see wenger losing his life not his job  The thought of him getting into bother with his tackling tonight has occured to me but nit would be an absolute scandal if wenger drops him tonight

Jack has to start tonight, he don't need resting and cannot be rested. Only player we got with any bottle or passion at the moment. My 11 would be:

Schezny, Sagna, Clichy, Kos, Doujrou, Cesc, Jack, Nasri, Walcott, RVP, Arshavin.

Gotta go for it. Only thing I can see Wenger doing different to my 11 is Song in for Arshavin so Nasri plays wide.

2-1 win for us and season lives on for a while longer :barscarf:

Would love him to play that team but in a 4-4-2 with Wally down middle and RVP off of him - Alas I know he won't.

He'll play Song in "holding role" - who'll be forward more than anyone :banghead:
Why not let Jack sit - he has the brains and bottle to do it.

Come on you Gooners - any kind of win will do :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

I love The Goose, the oddest collection of nutters and odd-jobs ever. I remember when it was 1.20 a pint in there!

Also look out for the old Gooner with the vintage Arsenal hat
