Chesney was excellent tonight.
He was a gee hair away from getting to Lennon - too late to pull out - give the chap a break

Personally I wouldnt go over the top slating him over the penno - he is young, raw and made a mistake and that will happen. However his inability to come out and actually catch those crosses should be a major concern. When we are under pressure from set pieces we need a keeper to come out and claim those crosses and slow the game down and fisting them clear just dont do it
Agreed. But thats modern day keeping for you - even the top ones come out and punch nowadays. We are just used to Jennings, Lukic, Seaman etc coming out and catching everything :?:

I think he is showing good maturity - he only turned 21 last week
I actually think that after the anonymous Almunia constantly flapping over the last several years (that, or simply misjudging whether or not to come for a ball), Szczesny's authoritative punches out are a major improvement. Yes, he doesn't catch as many as he could, but he's getting it the fuck away from the goal, which should be the main priority and a vast step-up from his predecessors.

Wenger said we were tired in the 2nd half and we were unlucky in conceding a peno

When asked about whether it proved Cesc right we needed more leaders after another 2 goal lead blown, he says "We are on a 15 match unbeaten run"

"Mental strength of the team is outstanding and not many teams can survive what they have been through, this team deserve more credit than it is given."

The interviewer also asked him what he feels about Szczesny rashness in conceding the peno, inexperience or what? Asking him whether he is gonna do anything.

"I didn't see it"

How the fuck can you not see it? You just said the penalty was unlucky? Make up your mind.

DISGRACEFUL

Why do you pay attention, or for that matter why does anyone? Haven't you realised?

Doesnt hurt as much as the loss at home, sort of expect it now and don't get hopes up. Wankers.

Thrilling game.

Our stamina is ok, our work rate is ok.

But

We must add power to the squad.

Defensively we are not cohesive enough.

We want our Keown back.

I actually thought rvp was poor tonight - he gave away too many cheap free kicks, couldnt hold up possession and chose an improbable lob when he should have slid the ball across to an unmarked theo

Agreed, I though he was very poor as on Sunday as well.

He's good but he just is not a lone striker, he doesn't have the pace or power, he never wins one header.

And some of his flicks wreck my head... :banghead:

Correct

He is supposed to be a DM.But never ever protects the back four.A headless fucking chicken.Another one of our one season wonders.Wenger wont sign Parker as it would kill Song.We need a manager who has got the balls to buy quality. And Wenger is not that manager

See you's lot next season. Enjoy the summer.

I'm sure the Arsenal squad will. They are all well minted and I'm sure they will use all the money we paid them to bask in the sunshine for 2 months sipping champagne and fine dining each night. They won't be getting a penny out of me next season. Heartless c*nts

To be fair Spunks are an alright team  fighting for points.
I know its not nice throwing away another two goal lead.
I do want Wenger to move upstairs - even if we do end up winning the league, coz we're still in it

We played well tonight - showed a bit of heart for a change but spunks were up for it aswell it was NLD.

Bad subs again - don't mind bringing on Bentmember (even tho I think he's shit) but to play him on wing :banghead:
