Fat Ronaldo Injured

I thought it was the Manc Ronaldo when I saw the headline. Damn.

This is sad, but do you think it will affect the effectiveness of AC Milan on Wednesday night?

I have not seen Milan play this year, so I don't know if Ronnie is an important part of their team in real goal-scoring terms. Perhaps it will have a psychological effect on the other players?

Has anyone followed the Italian league this season and can offer some insight?

I thought Ronaldo's role in the Milan side was a minimal one. Maybe not.

Last I heard though he was struggling with appearances. Shouldn't be too much of a loss to them.

just saw it on SSN,, looks a bad injury,, but as ram said he's not in the first 11 and used mainly as a sub,, his last season anyway i think

It's more important for Milan to have kaka and pato fit, although ronaldo was helping young pato settle in the side.

In my crystal ball, I foresee....An almost full-strength Milan side.

but Pato is lioke when Rvp1st joined us, im more worried about Inxaghi than Pato, hes just a new kid on the block

Agree with you, Kaka and Inzaghi are more of a threat

I feel sorry for the guy, this will effectively end his career. I used to be a big fan of his, his pace, power used to be second to none.

Gutted for him. It's a real shame. I hope he does make a recovery and can manage a couple more decent years before packing it in. On his day, he really was something else.

I genuinly believe the guy could have been up there with Pele, Maradona, Van Basten, Zidane etc in terms of how much ability he once had, what a player he was at Barcelona so it is indeed a great shame.

However remember the real madrid match at Highbury...Never have I seen such a high profile player give such a poor performance in my time of watching football.

Pato means duck in spanish. not a lot of people know that. Well only about 300 million people.
