There is nothing to be gained from him sitting on the bench most weeks, that won't make him a better keeper. And although with lesser players this wouldn't be a consideration I don't think he'd be as frustrated playing every week somewhere else as he would be stuck as our sub.
Yep, agree with this, it would benefit everyone all round if this was to happen.

I think a few of you are being a tad unfair on Scez. :?

He made several blocks and saves which kept the score line from being embarrassing.

Instead of a bashing to Scez I think we should be looking at Diaby giving the ball away. Defenders and Midfield not chasing a loose ball 30 yards centre of goal and throwing your body in the way. And Sagna ball watching and allowing Lennon to run in the first place.
It's his job to keep goal, which he did, but it's not his job to defend.

I'm sure if Scez had decided to stick they'd be comments this morning asking 'Why did he not rush out like he did against Bale in the first halve?'

I'm sure he's going to have a great future but I do also agree he's too raw to be playing first team but he's the best we currently have. If we're able to send him out on loan and he's happy with that then great.

Remember Scez should have never been near the first team yet had Wenger not sorted the keeper situation 2 years ago!!! :banghead: :banghead:

I think he's good enough for number 1, unless we plan on buying a world class keeper which as we all know is not happening. We are better served sticking with him than splashing for a guy like Stekelnburg, a name which seems to be flavour of the month these days when most people have probably never seen the guy more than 3 times.

When I look at how fucking shite Almnuia and Fabianski have been and are, I really don't think this is near as bad.

We have severe problems outfield in nearly every area that I would look at now.

All things said and done if Buffon was to come here, then I think it would be a brilliant signing despite his recent performances. That isnt happening so we just have to be happy it isn't as bad as the last 5 years.

I still think he is good enough, he undoubtedly has the ability, the only thing against him is his inexperience.
We will simply have to be patient and accept that for now he will make errors of judgement, the proof in the pudding will be whether or not he learns from them, I think he will, and in the meantime I don't think his errors will be too costly over the course of a season.
If we loan him out now, I fear we will lose him and it would be a huge blow to his confidence.

Can't agree 5. Seamo was still quality in 02. He instilled huge confidence in that back 4 too.

And you should have had your £20 back last night, mate - RVP was a yard ONSIDE. :(

What's the bets he gets injured against Bolton and ends the season on 14...?

Christ - I hope not though...

But you know me I'm just being picky and deliberatley akward.

All 'Keepers make mistakes, young and old. The boys proven it this year. What United would give to have someone like him coming through.
