How often do you envision going to Arsenal in 2011/12?
I've seen many, many posts with fans stating that next season they'll be going to fewer games than this season (or indeed, previous seasons).
Just thought I'd run a poll to see if that notion is representative of the majority.

I've been through the shit with The Arsenal before. The 70's and 80's were worse than this. So I will go as often as the deciding factor allows me; money.
Unfortunately the family, mortgage and other such stuff has to come first. Whatever is left gets thrown at The Arsenal.
I just love watching live football, so all the negatives won't stop me; shit atmos, under-performing team, shit players, JCL's and all that.
I love the craic on the plane over, the early beers at the airport, the beer up with old and new Gooner mates before the game, the whole thing.

I'm a silver member who will cut out category A games and a majority of televised games from here on in. If I could persuade my mates to give it up and watch in the boozers on holloway road I'd probably do that instead....that said we still have a laugh even if the match gets in the way of a good piss up. Even though I can remember the dark days of the 70's/early 80's I've never been as disillusioned with the club both on and off the pitch.

Bang on!! They've all become too greedy and I can't (and won't) pay out anymore!DB10GOONER wrote:I've been through the shit with The Arsenal before. The 70's and 80's were worse than this. So I will go as often as the deciding factor allows me; money.

I've always loved the build up to the games, the excitement, the unpredictability, the banter. But even though the football and facilities were worse in the 70s and 80s I'd always manage to get to every home game because it didn't rinse my wallet.
The prices they charge now are ridiculous, especially when you see the duffers getting paid so much. I'll miss it but I'll be at fewer games next year.

I'm hoping the guy who sits next to me, who shares a season ticket at the moment, will be willing to have mine for the whole season. That way I can get away from groundhog day completely. I don't think spending money on the squad will make much difference as Wenger still has zero idea on tactics, defence and motivation. In my opinion Wenger will leave the club one way or another at the end of next season at the latest. Then I would like to return. If the guy who sits next to me doesn't want it, and I'm not sure he will, then it's probably bye bye 31 years of ST and hello silver membership for me. I'll pick and choose then.
