Will AW make it to the end of the season?
AW looks thin, gaunt and on the verge of a breakdown.
Throwing tantrums, refusing to accept that his experiment has failed, blaming everything other than himself and the players. It all adds to the stress which will burn him out if doesn't come out of this long period of denial.

Why would he leave. The board and a majority of the numpties in the concrete bowl love him for finishing 4th every season. They like him believe it's everyone's fault bar his. If you think the majority aren't still with him ask yourself where the Wenger out chants are? He'll be here until 2014 at least therefore as a silver I will simply go less.
I think the underlying drive is anti-wenger, but the organisers don't want to alienate the pro-wenger brigade. but if Koenke comes out and says there are funds available, and then Wenger still refuses to spend, then the blame will lie solely at his door.Arsenal 1991 wrote:Looks like theres gonna be a protest at the Villa game not anti wenger though.
He will make it to the end of the season, but it is a very big summer for him as we now have a new owner and with Cesc probably leaving this summer.
If he doesn't invest wisely and improve the team enough so we win the league/fa cup/champions league the new owner will be pushing for him to retire after next season. If we do win 1 or more of those I can see him seeing out the rest of the contract.

Will he last the home straight of the season by not burning himself out
mentally or will he suffer a Gerard Houllier scenario and end up viewing from some Hospital bed . Unfortunately something is going to give . The guy has looked like he's being on the edge a awhile now and the Parisian Slapper expose has not helped his fragile state . He's looking increasingly isolated and with pundits and other Managers i.e Twitchy during the week , starting to 'diagnose' his depreciating mental state he seems to adopting a siege mentality . Who knows what his family situation is like , his players seem to be disillusioned , a new Regime in the form of Kroenke looking over his shoulder and his once mass ranked army of loyal fans have started to mutiny . And more importantly the title which should have been there for the taking looks like it has indeed being taken and even his royal blinkeredness must realise this one more than other previous years is one that should not have gotten away . This failure could be the one too many to push him over the edge . From Le Professor to the Mad Professor , it makes painful viewing .
Meanwhile Nero fiddles while Rome Burns .
