CLOCK END BANTER GROUP

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

CLOCK END BANTER GROUP

Post by Sutch »

hi all does anyone sit in The Clock End, upper or lower I don't care, the atmosphere is very good there, a lot of the songs and chants stem from The REDsection. If anyone does sit there then could you please inform me of it by emailing me at [email protected] or just telling me on here now, and then you can join The CEBG - CLOCK END ANTER GROUP
SING - STAND - SALUTE. Formed tonight I believe, any help would be muc happreciated, thankyou. This will be posted over multiple Arsenal forums, BzW. Cheers, COME ON ARSENAL!

Then join in my freind, there could be all different groups! There's already REDAction and Block 19 going at the moment but not a lot of people really join in with them mate as I have sat with them once before, and I seemed to be the only one apart from them singing And It's Arsenal! But credit to REDsection they always loud no matter what man if only the whole ground apart from the away end was like them, it would be fantastic man.

Wouldn't it be great to have the Emirates like this,no stewards telling you to sit down[

i think it's a case of fans organising themselves and booking online in groups at the same time, so they have a chance to be near each other.

block 19 is an example of this.

however, i think through the redaction people, it could be worth approaching the club and arranging for a couple of groups of 100 seats at the back of a couple of the relevant sections - to be put by specifically for silver members who are committed to going to every game and want to make some noise and get on their feet a lot.

i think the club would be willing to say - ok, if you agree not to stand 100% of the time, but just get on your feet when you are singing, then technically, they are not in breach of their safety licence, and if you are at the back of the lower tier, you are not blocking anyone's view when you do stand up and sing.

i think i've just written half my next online ed! :D

i usually get to sit in the yellow quadrant....next to the away fans, usually a good atmosphere and plenty of ''banter'' does this qualify as clock end??

Clock End

The Yellow Quadrant I think is the Clock End yes, or as some people call it the 'South Stand'. Apparentely it's Blocks 19 to 26, but part or all of Block 19 is in The East Stand, I've sat there once before, but probably my most common block is Block 26. I remember 1-1 vs brum Gallas roared at us. William you legend! ONE ARSENE WENGER!

This is mainly the Family Enclosure where I sit with my lad. It is fantastic for the big games as it tends to fill up fast with real fans and loud teenagers.

On boring (Wigan etc) game days it can be full of people bringing their kids for the first time and can be horribly frustrating. I don't know why people insist on bringing a 5yo girl with no interest in football to a game. 4 trips to the loo constant whining and kicking of seats   :D

Any way my boy and I are up for any banter. We're in 26 on Wednesday. 8)

Don't know how to get that grey box up so I'll just write it here mate. Did you go against the brummies at home? dissapointing result but brilliant atmosphere. I remember about 20 of us getting up at 0-0 I think or 1-1 and one bloke goes 'COME ON YOU LOT GET UP! GET UP!' and then I think someone moaned about him standing up and he goes 'FUCKING MISERABLE *word censored*!' lol.
