Made hard work of beating YBB. Drew with Werder & Twente, lost to Inter but acted like they won because they were only defeated by a single goal. Then proceeded to beat said Inter side at the shithole, the same Inter who were demolished by a truly terrible Schalke side. That puts the scum results into perspective.

Beat an AC Milan side with an average age of 78 by a single goal & scraped through against them by the skin of their teeth in the second leg. Lost 5-0 to the "shit Barcelona" as the pond life so embarassingly called them, the 2nd biggest ever aggregate defeat of an English team in the European Cup, since Wolves lost 9-2 to Barca in the 60s.

Yeah, some run.

It'll be on the history channel in a few years. I'm looking forward to their firesale this summer with increasing hilarity.

Says it all really on the gap there still is between them and us.

They get to the quarter finals and it's their best ever run, if we did the same it would just be another day at the office and we would even be a bit disappointed we couldn't get any further.

nope! They're just not on the same level as us!

Because the media loves 'Arry. They love his cheeky chappy approach. And he's English 'init.

I love the way Redknapp goes no about how he can't understand "where all the money went at Portsmouth". Hello! How about signing players you couldnt afford and paying them salaries that were hugely inflated. He has only ever achieved success through throwing vast amounts of money around. But anyway, looks like 6th place now, so the little adventure is well and truly over and we won't have to listen to it all again next season. Let's hope that Van der Fart and Chipmonk head off too.
