No real conspiracy here. They raided the gaff, blew him away, took the body for DNA tests and they will have photographed it etc. These things will be released soon enough.

The quick burial at sea was because it is Islamic tradition to bury the dead within 24 hours and Saudi Arabia refused to take the body apparently. The yanks like to be seen to respect Islam and also don't want a place of pilgrimage for Jihadists.

You beat me to this - well explained because that is critically important. It won't please everyone obviously in that part of the world and among those types of individuals and groups and make it so the world is safe from that sort of terror again as you all know too well yourselves as you have lived with these sorts of threrats far longer, but it might minimize the anger for taking him out.
