Stoke will put out a weakened side with the Cup final just six days after the game.

Pulis would be mental to play his first XI.

I would like to think Shawcross and Ramsey will shake hands (and not each others throats) before KO (if they both start) and when Ramseys name is read out when the teams are announced (if he plays) I hope he gets applauded by all Stoke City supporters. Then we can all put it to bed once and for all and we can then get on taking the piss out of our respective clubs but without all of the nastiness. I know I'll get slated by some of you on here for posting this, but its what I think.

As for the game, draw or Maybe an away win, your boys had a good win today. Its the cup final the week after,we may rest one or two as well.
I was at Blackpool yesterday and in the first half we did seem to play like we had 'one eye' on the cup final (no,not the Heineken cup final either as thats Rugby!) But we played very well in the second half. Tony Pulis said there's no point in resting players as they're just as likely to get a knock in training,so we'll see.

If your coming up for the game,I hope you enjoy the day out,one thing is for sure,it'll be a great atmosphere.

I hope Ramsey does not shake Shawcross's hand.

Shawcross is a thug. Pure and simple. He has previous. There is a piece of video somewhere of when he was playing for a Dutch (?) team, on loan from the mancs. I wish I could find it. He ran half the length of the pitch in order to kick a player up in the air. The guy was in the centre circle at the time. Easily a potential leg-snap.

Of course he didn't want to break the guys leg. Or Ramsey's leg. But he fucking well knew it might happen. The *word censored*.

And it doesn't help that your chavvy manager cranks his players up to go out there and rough the opposition up. We had a taste of this a while back. The much hated Adebayor was "tackled" off the pitch in a way that can only be described as fucking nasty. And that was only one incident in that particular match. All your lot need is a spineless referee, and you'll happily kick the fuck out of the nearest available player.

Rant over.

I'd like to add that my first wife comes from Stoke-on-Trent. I have spent many happy days there. And all the locals I met were really nice.

Every town/football club has it's dickheads, of course. Which is why I can make allowances for some of the fucking nasty piss-takes on your Oatcake site. You know...the ones about Ramsey having brittle bone disease....nearly died four times.....etc.

I have not chosen which to get but as it is an early kick off and only 1 train an hour you only have a choice of the 1st train: -
London 8:20 Stoke 10:19
London 9:20 Stoke 11:20
London 10:20 Stoke 12:24
London 11:20 Stoke at 13:09
I am deciding between the 9:20 or 10:20 as I read you have to get a bus to the ground from near the station.

Still awaiting my ticket from Arsenal as I brought it after it sold out and came back on sale.

I really hope Ramsey plays as a good game would do alot for him.

Shawcross also broke Franny "Fox in the Box" Jeffers ankle effectively ending his career and put Adebarndoor out for 3 weeks with a "tackle" that wasn't even on the pitch.

Thats the tackle you mentioned when out on loan, as far as im aware this did cause some serious damage to the fellah who was wiped out. His cowardly assault on Adebayor when he was clearly off the field of play. He's ankle breaking tackle on Francis Jeffers that was vigourously slammed by all involved on that occasion was yet again a cowardly tackle.

Where do you even start with the Ramsey incident, the fact he lost control of the ball in the first place, the fact he knew that Ramsey was getting there first? The fact he went in at 150mph 50 yards from either goal with no care in the world. The fact he shattered another mans leg in half witha shocking challenge. The scum deserves to be abused from all angles.

The way in which the media and the way in which Pulis and Stoke reacted to the incident was SHOCKING. Aaron Ramsey was a very very lucky man and fingers crossed he can recover to be as good as he once promised.

Give the fucker hell
