What's the significance of 125?

100 years was obviously important. I'd have thought the next "milestone" date was 150, if not 200.

To be fair most clubs mark 125 with a one off shirt. In recent history I remember Southampton, Luton, Bristol rovers and he spuds doing so. I'm sure there's more but can't think of any off the top of my head.

I'm just surprised the board didn't see fit to charge a symbolic £125 for the shirt

Just seen it on Arsehole.com

My God, did they let the Junior Gunners have a design competition or did someone accidentally press the 'zoom in' button when they were cut and pasting the Fred Perry logo on to it.

Looks totally fucking cheapskate, which is probably quite apt giving that the transfer window will soon be upon us.....

Won't be buying that shit thanks - the one we have now is far better

Authentic Polo shirt much classier. Should've been home shirt for the season. White collars reflect the successful 1930's and '98 double.

When reading the press release, it mentions the Royal Oak pub. Has anyone taken a drink here?

According to google there is a Royal Oak that has only just closed a few months ago - but it is in North Woolwich on the Isle of Dogs.

Anyone got any more info on this? Is this the right one? If so that's a shame. I'd quite fancy doing an Arsenal history pub crawl over the summer.

I don't like the new badge (with the laurel leaves along the edges) looks over sized and naff......bring back the old cannon.
