Mods feel free to move this, but this may have some bearing on who we play this season:

Thoughts? It would be funny to dock them points and laugh at Warnock after the Tevez/Sheffield United business last time, but why oh why are these hearings being done now rather than earlier in the season? And if they do get docked points that bump them out of the play-off places, expect legal challenges and a lot of other nonsense that could (even though it's unlikely) postpone the Championship play-offs.

Exactly my thoughts - this wanker kicked up blue murder over the tevez thing (probably rightfully so) and as a result new measures were put in place to deal with such scenario's (unless I am mistaken) and it would be ironic and funny if warnock was the first to suffer as a result

If I am honest I would like to see qpr promoted as I have a soft spot for the having been to loftus road several times back in the 70's but I really despise warnock so would like to see them heavily punished as a result
Re: The QPR Circus Begins
If they get a points deduction, it should be for the Premier League next season, to give them a Championship points deduction would result in all sorts of chaos if it cost them automatic promotion, even though Warnock's reaction to it would be pricelessaugie wrote:AA23Northbank wrote:Mods feel free to move this, but this may have some bearing on who we play this season:

And just to set precedent, Luton were deducted 10 points by the FA in the past for illegal agent payments, a charge which is being levelled at QPR: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 473285.stm
Cue carnage

How can something so basic take so long to investigate. The transfer was announced in January. There's only so much paperwork that can be reviewed.
Hope to god they do go up because the alternative is those tossers Cardiff who will wreak havoc wherever they and their moronic knuckle-draggers take themselves.
QPR, Norwich and Reading please !
