Okay, I thought I'd quote this as I thought you deserved some sort of recognition for that effort, BoomerBoomer wrote:I wonder how much news this will help us with Stokes Ariel bombardment.
Providing Robin Van Persil does not become a Fairy on the day, he'll Bold enough and Surf the waves of leg breaking tackles with Daz(zling) skill and get the goals.

That's very nice of you g88ner. As Boomer had previously been considered a bit of a powder puff when it comes to puns, that should be of some comfort to him.g88ner wrote:Okay, I thought I'd quote this as I thought you deserved some sort of recognition for that effort, BoomerBoomer wrote:I wonder how much news this will help us with Stokes Ariel bombardment.

Why are dan85 and US Martin so averse to this? Few sponsorship deals actually matter in terms of sharing the same values etc etc, it's all about the money. If this is the most money we could have got from whatever deal we've made at this time, that's fine by me. Yes it may not get spent but it certainly wasn't going to be spent if it never came in the first place. I'm just pleased we seem to have got some money in from sponsorship having done those ridiculous front loaded deals with Emirates which has left us behind loads of other clubs in recent years on this score.
I don't think anyone cares about who sponsors us. It's whether the sponsor benefoits the club and the team.
The worry here is whether it helps the club and team sufficiently financially and even if it does will that money beused to invest in the team given the fact the club is clearly reluctant to use the money that is available to try and improve the team as it needs to be.
