BBC Sport have reported that Baptista is going back to Madrid.
Baptista has stated, "I adapted well. I didn't play much at first but finished much better."
I think he must have been watching a different season to the rest of us.
All that is left to say is "Farewell Julio and thanks for those goals at Anfield"!

The Beast Hibernates Again
Rejoice! Rejoice! Rejoice! The pussy is going back to Madrid.
And to think Arsene almost bought him on a permanent basis two years ago for a massive £15million.
Was there any real proof that this guy is Brasilian? Are you sure it wasn't a similar case to the one at Southampton, where George Weah's cousin managed to pass himself off as a professional footballer....for all of two minutes!!
Just goes to show - great as Arsene is, he doesn't always know.

About bloody time too! Now can we just rewind the clock back to the summer of 2006 and find a proper centre-forward who can actually run, kick, head, tackle or control the ball? We would have had more success if we'd played Ian Wright this season!
Do we remember when he came on at Man Utd early on in the season and stole the ball, barged a couple of mancs out the way and curled his shot just wide? Back then, I thought we had a decent player but after that, he seemed too fat, too distracted and too simple to make it at Arsenal. I must say, his goals during the 6-3 thrashing of the mickeys will live long in my memory but sadly his shit penalties will too!
I wish you luck Beastie, I think you might need it!

Well I would like to say thanks to Baptista for his contribution to our Carling Cup season, but as for the rest of his games I can only remember one time when he stood out. He actually managed to stay on his feet and keep the ball when challenged at home to Reading, then carried on and scored. It put us 2-0 up and after that we became crap. Reading then dominated and got a late o.g. from Fab. Not Prem standard so goodbye.

Wow for a minute there I thought Wenger had gone loopy and was gonna keep him . Beast ? You have got to be joking . How many times did he fall over Heskey style or was left sitting on his arse? Shit first touch and apart from the free kick against Liverpool the others he couldnt exactly miss from ! ( or could he??
) The thing that makes me laugh about it now is he turned us down at one stage!!! Like most of the other posts on here I'd say "thanks for the goals against the Scousers and the spuds now piss off!"
