It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.
I am anything but a robbie savage fan, (in fact I thought he was a shyte player and as a player a total *word censored*) but have to say I saw/listened to this interview on the BBC website and as he infers when all's said and done - regardless of what people may think of him as a player - as a family man/father/son like all of us he idolises his family...in his last but one game as a professional player he had his sons and his dad (who is in the advanced stages of dementia) accompany him out onto the pitch before the game....for anyone who has experienced dementia in their family/parents know it to be an evil and horrible disease...
Mind you I still think he was a *word censored* for getting Gilberto sent off when we played blackburn - away 2004/5 ? - which we won 2 - nil anyway.....
I've listened to him on the 606 after games radio show and he talks honestly and makes much sense...so why was he a *word censored* as a player!?

he was just one of those players, that opposing fans just took to as a hate figure, i just remember him running around a lot with his blonde mop, moaning and doing dirty little tackles and then running away
shame about his dad, not nice for anyone with a family member with dementia
I went to the Reading Dercby game yesterday (dont ask!) and it was his last game. At the end he gave his boots, shirt and shorts to the fans - well played!
Not sure about the white vest and pants look though!
He's nothing but a cunt. Saw a documentary about his "fabulous footballer lifestyle" couple years ago and he intentionally drove his land rover through a huge puddle to splash it up on a young mother and her baby in a pram, turned to the camera and laughed his retarded little head off. If that had been my missus and kid the fuckbag would be dead now. Prick.

I would have to agree.
He comes across as a bit of an idiot on R5, but then again he is perfect for it considering the calibre of people who phone in.
We ALL feel for his family because of his dad, but other than that savage is a prickcuntwhorehalfwitofagimp with no dress sense and in need of a night of severe bondage at the mercy of KJ
