RIP "Big George" Webley

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

RIP "Big George" Webley

Post by mrgnu1958 »

Died early on saturday morning..He was a presenter on Radio london(a phone in programme)..He was 53.
I listened to him most nights and he had "One of those voices".
A wonderfully nice sounding man and will be greatly missed by this London Cabbie.

was at the vigil for him last week outside the BBC, and the turnout was amazing, especially for 2am mid-week.

RIP Big George - you touched more people than you'll ever know.

Thoughts are with JG and family.

Legend.
