The documentary thread

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Here's an ace documentary.

Dr Brian Cox. Young professor from Burnley (I think).

He explains loads of stuff about our solar system, and our world. In a way which would grab people's interest, rather than boring them.

Patrick Moore, he is not! :D

Very moving.
Is there a link please, Quartz?

If you are into military history, also recommend Adwa.

About how modern industrial Italian army was defeated by supposedly rag tag bunch of Ethiopians in late nineteenth century.
Sounds obscure, but it is riveting and has great photography.

This is a good'n......all about how our planet has shaped human history.

And also how humans have affected the planet.

Did you know, for example, that global warming was started by humans....7, 000 years ago....when farming started?

And if that hadn't happened.....we would now probably be having a mini ice age right now?

BRRRRRRR!
