"Right, the hosting provider for the site has suspended the forum due to high server utilisation. I am fed up with fixing this each time. I am also fed up of the constant moaning of people saying the site has gone downhill. Therefore I have come to the conclusion to shut the site down permanently. I don't know how long it was going for, about 10 years by my reckoning and it was fun, but all good things come to an end. If anyone wishes to set up another site I am happy to offer any advice they may need.

Seriously though, I hope they've got a back up of all the old stories etc. Would be a shame for them to be lost. Good education!

Great site. Some great stories of old, firm or not, it was a good reminder of terrace culture as we knew it.

Such a shame, really out of the blue as well??

Bad timing as well with the BSM walk coming up at the weekend. Not sure what high serve utilisation means, anyone?
