I don't normally watch the adverts, but one did catch my eye today. It was for Turkish Airlines and basically it was the entire United team larking about on a plane presumably pretending to be on their way to/from a European match.
Now maybe this ad has been around for months, but I just thought that someone at Old Trafford might just have seen the irony of this particular club doing this particular ad, particularly as it also featured Munich survivor Bobby Charlton....!
In fact, the larking about on the plane was pretty much a modern take on the same larking about portrayed in the "United" programme shown recently about the Munich disaster.....
I can't believe that no-one at Old Trafford has seen the parallels.....which makes me wonder how much the were paid to put any concerns to one side!
