Lap of "appreciation"

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

call that glory hunting if you will, but imo its sensible, you dont subject yourself to the same shit 4 years in a row with no prospect of change.

that and the emirates is full of c*nts with no idea of arsenal beyond AW.
I am a season ticket holder, and away scheme member, fair do's if you have been going for years, but the way you worded your post did not come across well with some people. I agree that a lot of people who go to home games are c*nts,so the away games are often a better day out.

Some people seem to forget that they are now just consumers of a product churned out by Arsenal plc.

That's modern football. It's not the game we started watching in the 70's when you could identify with the players.

To call your fellow consumers c*nts is disrespectful. Their money is as good as yours and many are better consumers than you because they quite happily spend more.

Fans who go to away matches are no good to Arsenal plc because your support swells the coffers of other clubs. Keep buying the shirts though, that does help because they only cost a fiver to make.

Maybe we could sing "You'll never play here again"?

Would be interesting to see the response.

Yet somehow deep down it does ot fit with "we'll support you evermore!"

Pity for poor Cesc though who does deserve our appreciation plus a couple of others like JW, SZ and probably RVP.

I assume that means you will be giving your season ticket up after this season?

still spose ur one of those mongos who clapped them off today. just shows our away support may be vocal but most are a bunch of retards who dont actually give a shit about whats in the best interests of afc, rather arsene and his boys. if they did they wouldnt appluad the shite they see every other week.

its sickening the positve reaction that was given today by 90% of the away support, based on reports.
There is no way 90% of the away support clapped the player, I was there and saw 50% leave after Stoke's 3rd goal! It looked pretty clear from where I was that they weren't getting much applause, only Chamakh & Wilshere who came over to the crowd (they were the only ones who deserved it for actually giving a sh*t during the game)...

Personally it all seems to have got a bit depressing that fellow fans seem to be turning on one another for going to matches...

I wont be at the game, in fact i never go to home games. But even if i did, i wouldn't hang about clapping the players and managment.
Clapping them for what exactly? Another end of season collapse? A string of hapless, passionless performances?
Only Wilshere and RVP would get any appreciation from me after this season shambles.
