Alright Lads and girls

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

So you are having a picnic lunch with your girfriend and she suddenly gives you a rather naughty look then says "I wan't you to do me right here in the park on the soft cool grass while I'm thinking of I hate Hleb?"

Oh dear
She wouldn't be the first woman to do that!!

I suppose being new to the board I better give my view on the most controversial topic at Arsenal.
My personal view is that Wenger is past his prime. It's been a disaster of a season in all honesty. Considering our position now compared to the morning of Sunday 27th February it's been a shambles and totally unacceptable.
We've become far too predictable to play against and all teams have to do is sit deep keep and close down the space centrally. And Arsene Wenger has no answer to it, he doesn't know how to change things tactically. He can't seem to change a game around when it's not going to plan. He thinks putting Bendtner on the wing and sticking Chamakh on is the answer.
There's been far too many stale, flat and passionless performances this season, and the manager has to take full responsibility. They're his players, he picks them, he coaches them and he instills workrate and commitment, like Fergie at United.
So although I hugely respect his legacy, I genuinly think he's out of ideas.

Great post, but I have to differ with you on one part of it... under Wenger we have ALWAYS been predictable - the difference now to previously is that we had the players who had character, physical strength, and the mentality to see it through. Infact, with the combination of senior & younger players, the players were simply better, and that was more often than not enough. Although the current crop of players are great tecnically, they are severely lacking in other ways - can you imagine players like Keown, Adams & Vieira putting up with brain-dead performances from the likes of Diaby, Denilson & Eboue? I just get the feeling nobody really gives these serial losers a kick up the bum in the current team.

Where we were always exposed tactically was in Europe. Arsene was tactically mediocre then as well as now. And don't get me started on the totally predictable 70min substitutions - look at Mourinho when he was at Chelsea - he was bold & brave enough to make a change at any point in a game, unlike stubborn Wenger.
