Batman would be a better buy imo - he has a more commanding presence and the type of leader we need whilst robin would be just another lightweight short arse (apologies to DB10 all all other vertically challenged people ) and we have enough of those at the mo (on the forum as well as the team )

I think he would be a great player for us a scoring winger is what we need I agree on him not being the hard nut player we need but i can remember him scoring some very important goals for the chavs in the past.

I think Robben is a great player but apparently he wont play unless he feels 100% fit this is why he is 'injured' so often.... We dont need anymore players like that

yeah exactly, that's just what we need.

it's not like we need a midfielder who can actually play quality football, that's nonsense

if you want a fighter like you mention, then we should buy a wrestler and not a football player. melo's skills as a footballer are very poor and he gets sent off for stupid things 2 or 3 times a season. remember what diaby did at newcastle? remember how good it was for us? well, melo should do the same in a regular fashion.

i simply hate melo and would prefer seeing aliadiere signed back than watch that useless piece of shit in our arsenal.

i'm with you that we need a tough defensive midfielder asap, one who can dominate midfield, terrorize the opposition and all that, but melo is simply not the answer.

To be honest I just want to see someone with a bit of fight in our midfield don't care whether that be Melo, Parker or even Lee fucking Bowyer.
