As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
The twitter kid is backing his paymaster again, and who wouldnt!!

How many players in the invincible team were "inherited"?
Just the 2
Shows what happens when you have the needed financial backing
Danny Fiszman (or his family) and Lady Bracewell-Smith at least ouught to be giving Mr. Wenger some nice fat personal checks for all he done for them - oops - I mean Arsenal
I'm getting fed up with the dross sprouting from the mouth of this cocky prick. FFS - he was hitting rubber when most of us on here had been going to Arsenal for years.
Keep your mouth shut son. One season at Brentford and half a dozen decent games in the top flight hasn't made you a star yet.
Spend more time practising your fucking kicking which is as poor as any keeper in the top flight. Save the "profound" comments for someone who stopped filling in their homework diary more than 3 years ago

Still amazes me that how little stick the Twitter king got about that. Had it been Fabianski or Almunia they would have got dogs abuse.
Frankly I hope we buy a new 'keeper while this loudmouth develops a bit of maturity.
Absolutely - another given a long term deal before he has actually achieved sweet FA. And you're right about Almunia - anyone would have thought he'd single handedly lost us the Champions League final in 2006 but I don't actually recall him making an error quite in the proportions of Brentford's finest at Wembley. I seem to also recall being reduced to 10 men in the first 15 minutes by a keeper who now seems to be remembered only with selective memory (the one he let through his hands at Blackburn and charging off his line at Panathinaikos to get lobbed from the touchline, as bad as anything Almunia has done).
Szcesney and Almunia - different backgrounds in football, different experiences, can't compare so of course the abuse wouldn't be the same. If Szcesney is still doing this sort of thing in a couple of years, then he'll probably get it.
As for Lehmann/Almunia - If Almunia had at any time shown the consistent brillance and had the (positive) impact on the team that Lehmann hadm then he would have had some credit to work with. Unfrotunately, he was a journeyman footballer, who didn't have the respect that lehamnn commaned, and suffered for it in the end.
Lehamnn wasn't perfect, but was in a different league to Almunia, and was unceremoniously dumped by Wenger when Almunia did much worse and was continually picked (apart from the catalogue of errors after Lehamnn being dropped in 2005, which meant the Wenger couldn't wait to get Lehmann back in)
Having been involved in the highest profile cock up this season i would be keeping my face off the internet and out of the press.
But hey what would his twitter followers do then???
