Toure and Gallas!

Sorry I know you will all jump on me but Gallas and Toure ain't a good partnership ! 2 of the goals were from free Headers!

we concede to many goals when they are both in the team stats prove it

Not a good day all round 2 smooth . How my tv is still in one piece is a miracle. As I said in another post. Lose to a better team on the day fair enough but at least put up a fight and show some bollocks and we didnt do that today

but they were immense before Toure went to ACN, gona take a few games for them to re uinite there partnership imo

The only defence i have for them today is traore and hoyte were terrible so really its like both toure and gallas were doing the job of the entire back four.their 2nd wouldnt have gone in though if gallas wasnt there cos fletchers header was going wide

The problem about them two is that they aren't good at heading the ball. Gallas-Toure partnership is as good as any in the world when it comes to playing football on the floor. Clichy and Sagna aren't that good at heading the ball too. The solution would be playing Senderos, but moving Kolo or Gallas out of position or onto the bench would make them very unhappy and make them to think about leaving. Also, would Senderos be good enough to play 50 games a season for us? I don't think so.

Gallas and Toure is a good partnership.

Toure was rusty after ACN.

Traore is long way from ready.

Hoyte had a bad day at office.

Senderos would of won both headers Toure and Gallas are weak in the Air !

I knew you had alterior motives when i read the first post

. But yes i agree. Its not the first time that Gallas and Toure were poor in the air. And its not a coincidence that we seem to concede goals when they play together, even when we are winning matches. However none of us expected an aerial threat from manure, three of their goals coming from headers that too from Rooney and Fletcher, is not something that happens often. Id be tempted for us to play Big Phil against Milan.

But being exposed down either wing pulled one (or both) of them out of position. Gallas played as bad as i have ever seen, in fact all the defence did. Didn't think i'd say this but hats off to Jens. Could have been alot worse...made some good saves!!

the only reason I mention it, is because big phil gets blamed for to much for mistakes. and Kolo and Billy go unnoticed for theres. I made a point the other week about you can pick holes in everyones game and thats what I just done! Gallas Toure and Senderos all good defenders all with something missing from there game! but you cant play 2 similar players with the same flaw!

I totally agree!! In my eyes he was unlucky not to start....surprised both eboue and toure started so soon after ACN. but saying that not sure how many other options we had....

we've been beaten 4 times this year 3 times we got spanked and Senderos wasnt playing in any of them

sagna is very good in the air he often wins most challenge in the air

if he gets those 50 games he will become the player he was in the CL final season where he got a good run of games, consistant ability comes with consitant runs in the team
