BSM Official video footage

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

BSM Official video footage

Post by mikeyb772001 »

Felt this needed its own thread as it shouldn’t get mixed up in loads of pages.

A very successful march that can only get stronger.

Shame we didn’t get more footage from outside diamond entrance. One things for sure Arsenal football club will be talking about it and will be worried about it happening again. Does not look good on a corporate level to have us marching around.

Our very own Duffman was the one who started the 6% ur avin a laugh chant. Now every paper in the uk has quoted it and it was clear as fuck on TV.

Well done to all who took part. Hope this is the start of much, much more to come in protest against this clueless board and management team; totally out of touch with the reality of supporting a football club.

I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford to go to most home games; I'm not a rich man but I do OK. My parents weren't at all well off when we were kids, so my Dad taking me to games here and there when we could show up on a Saturday and stand on the North Bank was how it all started off for me.

Sadly a whole generation of supporters who started off the way I did back in the 1970s will never get the chance again. I come across Gooners all the time that tell me "I used to go a lot at Highbury, but I just can't afford to go. My son / wife / daughter would love to go too but we just can't afford it".

For all those people I applaud what you're doing and will lend my support whenever I can. Best of luck

The group's leadership did support the press release put out by the numerous supporters' groups.....

As for the rank-and-file members, the BSM have had usual insults of 'fickle plastics' and 'fuck off and support whoever,' on the facebook page. Mugs  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

agreed.

When the 6% chant broke out on sunday, you can see that it is something many gooners are hurting about, even the most quiet ones,

This will only grow until something is done.

Is the 6% chant in the video?

I'm in a bit of a rush atm but I watched some of it, it looked like a vocal and proud group of concerned Gunners. As always, keep up the good fight.

Fair play to all that attended the march, it's a good start trying to get the arsenal back somewhere near what it used to be! Well done to all that got the bsm up and running. I'll be there to support it when and where needed in the future!

I am the one in a black top! haha

You can take the piss but it was a good turn out. The guy who was shirtless and covered in tatts was not a beer swilling idiot as you put it.

At the beginning there was a more solid looking group. When people turned there fucking cameras on they seemed to vanish from the crowd.

Lots of it wasn’t recorded as many of the guys I was with were on banning orders from football. We did however start a protest outside diamond entrance until the filth tried there hardest to antagonise people and then they we had to stop. David Dein saw the whole thing and just clapped us and waved.

Sorry people keep saying about how good it was Dein waving and clapping etc but what a hypocritical tosspot..... Having sold his shares for millions to a foreign investor and having backed Kronke 3 or 4 years or so ago, he is now supporting getting rid of greed in football  He was (should have been) one of the people the march was targeted at

He may of sold his shares but I would still rather him upstairs than who we have. I don’t know the details of him selling his shares flash.

Alll I know is it was Dein who pushed Wenger and who helped with transfers big time.

When it comes to that kind of money there all *word censored* and you cant trust any of them That being said I would rather a *word censored* that can actually help than the ones that cant do fuck all to help

Disagree with that. Personally I can't see anything wrong with selling your investment at a profit - isn't that what should happen and makes people like Dein succesful to start with ??

It's how they behave towards their 'customers' i.e. us lot, during their stewardship of the club and in that regard I think that 90% of what Dein did for the club benefitted all of us. Nowadays it just cheap, low end American style marketing designed to rip off a brand of supporter that quite frankly deserves what they get. I don't think the Dein era felt like that
