What a terrible player!
Awful first touch, lazy slow and indecisive. Cardiff fans just jeered him off.
I’m ashamed to say I got carried away with the hype after his impressive run of reserve team performances and was calling for him to get first team opportunities. Now I’m not sure if he will ever make it.

Now that you've come over to the dark side, could you also look at other threads before starting a new one.djvandyke wrote:What a terrible player!

Otherwise, you're just another denilson

10 years on from the wannabe world beaters we had in the FA Youth Cup winning team - Itonga and his chums - this is the crop of English talent that we've heard so much about from Wenger. In fact he said 10 years when he first took the job on [to bring English players through] - well its now 15 and apart from Ashley Cole and lately Jack Wilshere, they've mostly been bollocks.
JET another in the long line of ordinary Joes that the club have hyped up; destined to ply his trade in the lower reaches of the Championship or further down still

Yep, that much vaunted youth policy along with our overrated world scouting system, which never, ever scouts in this country...SteveO 35 wrote:10 years on from the wannabe world beaters we had in the FA Youth Cup winning team - Itonga and his chums - this is the crop of English talent that we've heard so much about from Wenger. i'm most certainly NOT defending wenger, just saying, that you can only sign youth players from within a certain distance to the club... 20 miles or something... and in that distance we're also competing with just about every other london club, so it's probably far easier to miss out on the potential diamonds.franksav63 wrote:Yep, that much vaunted youth policy along with our overrated world scouting system, which never, ever scouts in this country...SteveO 35 wrote:10 years on from the wannabe world beaters we had in the FA Youth Cup winning team - Itonga and his chums - this is the crop of English talent that we've heard so much about from Wenger. Regardless of his attitude (which I know nothing about) I have to say that after watching him in these two games he has all the appearance of a big cumbersome lump unable to move I had heard so much about the guy being a future star but he just does not look like he is anywhere near a premiership player for any club much less a club that intends challenging at the top end
I a;so look at another much lauded young player henri lansbury who is meant to be the future of our club but is only a back up player for a small club in a lower division - how are we holding these players in such high esteem ?
