Maddies mum in the Sun

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

I must admit it's hard for me to get fully behind these two, because there is always a nagging doubt in the back of my mind that they have something to do with her disappearance...and i would be mortified if i got fully behind them and it turned out they were guilty...

Saying that, nobody should be getting upset that they are going to great lengths to get publicity for this case..because if they really have no involvement in her disappearance (and no one has proved they have)they are fully justified to go to whatever lengths necessary to attract attention to the case..
They are only doing what every parent in the same position would want to do if they could, just because others in the same position don't get the same attention that's not the McCann's fault...

I still cannot understand what the flying fuck they were doing going out and leaving their kids alone anywhere - never mind in a foreign country full of transient tourists. Christ, I have a 6 and a 7 year old and they are NEVER left alone anywhere anytime. Ever.

Weird thing was, we were actually in Portugal on hols about 3 weeks after the poor kid went missing and my daughter was about 6 months younger than her and looked a little bit like her from a distance, so everywhere we went we could see people doing second takes and coming closer to look at our daughter. Early on I went mental with one Engerlish guy who got a bit too close until I realised what they were doing. We were paranoid as fuck though for the rest of that hol. :?

Now that the Prime Minister has asked Scotland Yard to review the case, hopefully the first question will be - "Why did you leave your kids alone to go and eat, drink and be merry at a Tapas Bar"
