THAT'S LIKE SAYING THAT ALTHOUGH MY WIFE HAS HAD THREE KIDS, I'M NOT THE FATHER OF ANY OF THEM BECAUSE WE NEVER ACTUALLY HAD SEX!!TheOne2Smooth wrote:we've been beaten 4 times this year 3 times we got spanked and Senderos wasnt playing in any of them

I'm with 2smooth on this one,, now I'm not a great fan of senderos but he hasn't been doing to bad this last month or so,, and gallas and kolo are just quick centre backs and neither of them that good in the air,, most goals we seem to concede these days come from cross's into our box that are not properly dealt with

I think you'll find, of the three times we got spanked, Big Phil was almost completely to blame for one of them (Seville) and of the other two times (Sp*rs and United), Toure and Gallas were the partnership once.TheOne2Smooth wrote:we've been beaten 4 times this year 3 times we got spanked and Senderos wasnt playing in any of them
I see what you're saying, but this point I've quoted is a weak argument. I think you're a little bit biased towards Big Phil because of this siege mentality you've seemed to adopt over the whole slagging him off thing. I'd say that yesterday, the full-backs were the main culprits. If the flanks aren't being properly covered and if cross, after cross is coming in, by the law of averages, at least a few of them are going to end in goal scoring chances, and United took them.
Again, I do see what you're saying, but I don't agree with it. You can have the best two centre backs in the world, but if they're not getting any help (Flamini not playing, shit full-backs, etc) then they're going to struggle. To me, there is more evidence which says Toure and Gallas are a good partnership, than there is evidence which suggests otherwise.
