WHY THE FORUM COLOUR HAS TEMPORARILY CHANGED!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

gooner.ed wrote:the idea is we are in mourning for a week. we will change back after that, but using this format is the only way we can change the colour of the forum to black to mark steve's passing without it involving a great deal of work for rob. in the greater scheme of things, i think we can all tolerate this for a few days given the gesture behind it.

A very touching gesture, top class work.

While I would like to see the normal colour scheme return, I would like the tribute to Steve Hope to stay on the forum banner for as long as possible, if possible.

in fairness, although i thought about this on thursday night, it was only spuddy ringing me and suggesting the same that made me find out if rob could do it without major upheaval. so he's the one who made it happen and deserves any credit.
