He was over for the United match, he has since gone home but his son is going to the match with his girlfriend. I am hoping that he can get replacements from the box office at Fulham, though nothing is guaranteed.olgitgooner wrote:What a bastard thing to happen!MutleyGooner wrote:I have family over from Oz and bought and paid for 3 tickets which unfortunately
Haven't arrived in the post. £150 loss and 3 unhappy Oz gooners.

Is one of your visiting relatives the guy I met at the Gunners pub? The day you got chucked out of the Grove?

Fuck me! You have a great gift for lyrics. This Is The Daybreak wrote:Song for Saturday
To Simon & Garfunkal 'Sounds of Silence'
Hello there Cesc, my old friend. It's contract talks for you again. Because the season's slowly fading, trophies glisten with Manc's parading. And this season for granted yet again, I feel the pain. Predicting a ground of violence.
In sold out stands I felt alone, saw Nasri beat Tom Huddlestone. Beside the glow of my table lamp, I switched the channel to see old Redknapp. Then my pride was grabbed by a match in the title fight, felt shit that night. Sorrow drowned in silence.
And in the bright flood lights I saw, 60,000 people, maybe more. Players passing without shooting, players shooting without scoring. People singing songs about the choices Arsene made, fans they prayed, against a ground of violence.
"Boo" said I "Do you not know, violence mixed with banter grows. I fear my words just won't reach you, another fake season that won't teach you." But concerns about signing new players failed, Wenger, let us dwell in silence.
And the people booed then slayed, the football god they made. As a banner flashed out its warning, as the hurt was forming. And the sign said: 'The honours of the Gunners are written within the Emirates halls and Highbury walls' and uttered by fans in defiance.

Could you have a stab at "Bridge Over Troubled Water" for me?

I NEVER predict score for a Gunners game...but I'm so pissed off with this bunch of no hopers ...what the hell!
fulham (aka: Michael Jackson All Stars) 2 - 1 Arsenal
For the first time EVER I really can't work up any enthusiasm about this game....I'm worried if we somehow manage to play well Wenger won't do the necessary and sign at least 4 new decent players....
Good Luck and Well Done to all those Gooners attending tomorrow.

At the end of the day Wenger is going to do what he wants regardless of the result/performance tomorrow.OneBardGooner wrote:I NEVER predict score for a Gunners game...but I'm so pissed off with this bunch of no hopers ...what the hell!

If it goes well he will say the team is strong therefore we dont need strengthening properly
If it goes as we all expect it to he will just say "we need to take a step back and reflect bla bla bla" which will end with us not strengthening.
Arsenal in its current state is Wenger's empire and the emperor does what he wants.
Good to see our captain supporting the glorious fight for third right up to the death, he's at the Spanish GP in Catalonia

Whats funny is I bet hes not even injured too badly if at all. He's probably alot fitter than he was when he lined out at the Nou Camp. If we were challenging for the title Im sure he would be playing
At the end of the day it all comes down the Wenger. Fabregas clearly wants to leave the club and I certainly wouldnt blame him in the slightest. As long as its Barcelona and not City or Madrid.
Keeping him here against his wishes will see more events like this I'm sure especially since hes pally with they Barcelona players and manager is his idol.
