Another rat deserting the sinking ship??????

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Tough for Gibbs only paying a game here and there.

I say judge him after a run in the side. His best form for us has always been when he has had a decent run of games.

Gibbs is by far the worst left back I ahve ever seen play for us! I cannot believe people are touting him or even just suggesting he could fit in! His positioning is terrible, tracking back when he's been on a jolly is terrible, decision making is terrible and he seems to have a brain to make Diaby look like a genius.

Ok he's fast (apparantly) and English and prob ok going forward but the guy is a liability. Watch the FA Cup vs Manure this year again if you want good examples of all the above! :banghead: :banghead:

+1 !!!

You can also mention our game last week-end vs Fullham. I don't mind Gibbs as a squad player, but never ever should he start the games week-in week-out!

Tough to give him that run when the rest of the defence ships in so many goals and makes so many fuck ups. In a more solid unit (I'm gonna feel dirty all over for saying this) a la Man U with the Da Silva boys, he could have a shot at picking up some form.

But I fear if he starts first choice next year, he could be ruined before he's begun.

Gibbs is not the second coming of Cole, pray to God that he doesn't take over from Clichy next year.
