we all moan about these shit shirts that we have year in year out, but look around at the grove. people go mad for it all! a fucking white shirt for gods sake yet people loved it. they could put i love spurs with a massive penis on the back of a shirt, soak it in shit and still people would pay 45 quid for it. :banghead:

Wooah Flash................

The fourth one down is not a fake!

I own the actual shirt and it is a Nike prototype put in front of the club but rejected.

Like I have the shirt and the code inside it is the one used for Nile prototypes in the same way as the actual playing kit is Code 7.

Now say sorry nicely!

This has to be a wind-up. No Arsenal man would ever sanction a Spurs kit.

I ahte to say it but I think that is the away kit for next year!

If you look on at all the 'casual' clothing they are selling on the webiste so much of it is in light and dark blue. They even have a home and away warm up top and guess what colours the away one is!

lads, believe me, that IS the new kit. i had all the training stuff and some jackets of the 2011/12 season over three months ago from a guy who works at nikey, and they are all exactly the same ones being released now. he also confirmed that the home shirt would be the one with the "forward" crest and everything else. the lad was spot on, and that was three months ago!

the same guy didn't have the away shirt available to send to us (arsenal brasil) but he said he saw it, and that it was a "horrible shirt, divided diagonally between dark and light blue".

so i guess we're stuck with this shirt that my pub team wouldn't wear as it looks too amateur :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

What about the shorts mate? Are they the same?

If shorts were navy that would make it look better.

It's a vile kit no doubt about it, worst I've ever seen, yes worse than the zig zags circa 1991-93.

a white third kit ? are arsenal trying to do as much as possible to give up on them? 6% ticket increase, nazi stewards, the forward crest, no big signings, a chairman who abuses the concerned fans and shite players who want to leave because they claim to be "winners"?

modern day football eh? :banghead:

don't know mate, he only told me about the shirt. and he has "normal" taste when it comes to football shirts, so when he described it as "horrible" i was concerned...

For once I'm almost speechless.

Anyone buying one of these is a *word censored* who deserves a slap.

Wonder what AISA Red Action and the supporters trust will do !

The yellow / blue Anfield 89 replica from a few years ago was the lowest selling AFC away kit of the last ten years.

We all criticise the commercial side of the club and the missed opportunities compared to other clubs, but the reality of the situation is that Nike have licence to do what they like with the Away kit design with the blessing of the club, because it is all about selling shirts at Shanghai airport or an enormo-mall in Tokyo ; No one out there cares that the 'proper' AFC away colours are yellow and blue. That is where the money is made for the club.

As long as the club agree that the red with white sleeves home shirt is sacred and cannot be changed, then we just have to accept different away kit designs : Gazidis has said exactly that in a meeting I attended this past season.

I see a comment above asking what AISA/ REDaction are gonna do, but that's just a fuckin' joke ; The club has to present the new kit designs to the Premier League up to twelve months in advance, and thousands of these shirts have already been made, so any form of protest from fans groups is a complete waste of time.

Correct The Cook.

The away kits are designed to look good as casual tops to be worn with jeans etc.

They are simply fashion items intended to generate as much revenue as possible.
