Morning!!!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I would hope you would be as disgusted as most Arsenal fans would be.
The song aimed at Wenger is nothing short of slanderous and should be stopped. It has no foundation in fact and is purely offensive. Whilst distasteful the songs about Shipman have some factual basis and lets face it, you lot probably dispise him as much as anyone.

this is quite ridicluos..I have no truck with these songs ..howver to suggest no one is affected by the actions of a serial killer...compared to name calling ..well lets move on ..what next?

as for microphones..well if you have ever been to OT you will know that the microphones are pitch side...so you had all of east stand..the north stand lower is mostly corporates...same with south stand..so the only "noise was from lower west stand...

If we are all a waste of time why do you spend so much time on here?

oh stop being so prissy .. I came on here last monday after the city game..you can imagine your posters commnets..so excuse me if I mention the things I have in the past...namely your team isnt as good as you and the media think you are

Our team is as good as if not better than yours panto. And on any given day ie twice last season we are more than capable of beating you. But due to your massive spending you have a stronger squad.. Hence saturdays result.

Who suggested that nobody was affected by Shipman???? I didn't! Please stop putting your own interperetation on my posts. What are you, a spin doctor? I said, and I'll repeat because you obviously didn't get it, those songs are not an attack on your team or anybody involved in your club. I also said that you probably dispise him as well.
Don't give me the crap about the microphones Pancho. Your own boss has said how quite your fans are. I'm not the first!

Answer me these questions Pancho. A simple yes or no will suffice.

1. Do you think the 'Sit down you ...........' song is acceptable?
2. Is there any foundation to the accusation?
3. Should your club be seen to publicly criticise those that sing it?
4. Are those that sing it guilty of 'slandering' Arsene Wenger?

if you team was as good as ours ..you would be champions woudlnt you?...as for beating us last season ..ah well you finished over 20 points behind last season as well...as for spending well thats a whole thread on its own...but I will say for every rooney who cost a lot..we sold a beckham who cost nothing ..for every rio we have vidic..and we raised over 35m this summer selling smith, richardson, rossi, jones, etc..so nani and anderson cost nothing ....and of course being the biggest club in britain with the msot supporteres and the second richest in teh world, then surley we can spend a bit too...

Exactly, but your club say nothing yet on the other hand demand respect from other fans about Munich (which they got from your nearest rivals).
Hypocrasy isn't it!

Our club have issued statements about that type of behaviour and anybody found doing so will have their membership of the club revoked and will be banned. That's because they have standards, a thing that appears to be lost within the Hierarchy of Manure.

we both know that ..but the punishment you received after the OT game in 2003 was the largest fine for any club with the most number of players receiving the longest bans

like I said. Mudslinging.

Pizzagate....50/50 on the guilt and incitement issues I think
Red cards... well with one booking for 3 fouls compared to the rest of the division (1 in 7) hardly surprising
Heaviest punishment....yes, true, and all caused by Brian McClair
George Graham bungs...yes, true, please don't tell me that you think SAF hasn't done it. He just didn't get caught!
Moving North? What has that to do with Standards?

You can throw mud all day and we can throw as much back. You ask to move on then you throw a little more for good measure.

Bottom line is:-

You beat us at the weekend and you deserved it.
It had no bearing on the league game in April as both teams will be very different.
Between now and May both sides will drop points, we just have to be sure that we drop no more than five more than you.

In May, if we are champions, will you then admit we are the better team? I doubt it!!!!!!!

see, if you try you can have healthy debate rather than talking crap. All you need to do is be clear in your statements.

IF YOUR TEAM WERE HALF AS GOOD AS YOU THINK THEY ARE, THEY WOULDN'T BE TRAILING ARSENAL BY 5 POINTS AT THIS STAGE, WOULD THEY?

AFTER ALL, AS YOU KEEP POINTING OUT, YOU BEAT US BY 21 POINTS LAST SEASON AND THEN SPENT AN ADDITION £70 MILLION (WHEN TEVEZ DEAL GETS FINALISED) BEEFING UP YOUR SQUAD, WHEREAS WE SPENT A FEW MILLION QUID ON EDUARDO.

GIVEN THAT, AND CHELSEA'S EARLY SEASON PROBLEMS, YOU WOULD HAVE THOUGHT MAN UNITED WOULD HAVE HAD THE TITLE WRAPPED UP BY NOW!

is the season over? ..is there still 36 points to play for?...which team in 2003 was 5 points clear with 12 games to go yet finished 6 points behind the eventual champions?....

you say 70 mil...you seem to know more about the Tevez deal than the PL or FA..hes on loan for threee yrs ( wages only)..

and dont foget we got over £35m for selling players like rossi, smith , jones, richardson , Mchsane, ...so anymore excuses?

SO YOU STILL EXPECT THAT 21 POINT TOTAL TO BE SURPASSED THEN? THOUGHT NOT!! AND BY THE WAY, I WAS TALKING ABOUT AN INCREMENTAL INCREASE, CONSIDERING YOU HAVE ADDED CONSIDERABLY TO YOUR SQUAD, WHEREAS WE DIDN'T. AS FOR THROWING AWAY POINTS LEADS - I REMEMBER YOU LOSING AN EVEN BIGGER ONE TO US A FEW YEARS BACK!! 8)
Pancho wrote:..you say 70 mil...you seem to know more about the Tevez deal than the PL or FA..hes on loan for threee yrs ( wages only)..
WELL HIS AGENT WAS BLABBING HIS MOUTH OFF THROUGH-OUT THE SUMMER SO IT WAS QUITE EASY TO FIND OUT THAT HE WILL END UP COSTING UNITED BETWEEN £20 AND £30 MILLION. IF WHAT YOU SAY IS TRUE ABOUT BEING ON LOAN FOR THREE YEARS - WHICH I DON'T BELIEVE AND IS NOT THE POSITION I UNDERSTAND THINGS ARE WITH REGARDS THAT DEAL - THEN FIRSTLY HOW ARE HIS AGENTS MAKING THEIR MONEY FROM THE DEAL?; AND SECONDLY, YOU MUST BE PAYING TEVEZ SOME FECKING MASSIVE WAGES. :?
Pancho wrote:and dont foget we got over £35m for selling players like rossi, smith , jones, richardson , Mchsane, ...so anymore excuses?
WHO IS MAKING EXCUSES? YOU HOWEVER ARE VERY SELECTIVE WHEN COUNTING THE MONEY MAN UNITED HAVE SPENT AND ALWAYS TRY AND JUSTIFY IT WITH THE INCOME GAINED FROM PLAYER SALES. HOWEVER, EVEN ON THAT BASIS YOU WOULD HAVE TO ADMIT THAT NET SPENDING WISE OVER ALMOST ANY PERIOD YOU CARE TO JUDGE IT SINCE WENGER HAS BEEN MANAGER, UNITED ARE PROBABLY SECOND ONLY TO CHELSEA, OR AT THE VERY LEAST NEAR THE TOP OF THE TABLE AND ARSENAL NEARER THE BOTTOM ON THAT SCORE.

THEREFORE TO PRETEND THAT EVERYTHING HAS BEEN ACHIEVED ON A BALANCED BUDGET IS JUST POPPY-COCK AND DISINGENUOUS ON YOUR PART!!
