RIP Rob Daley

Post by mrgnu1958 »

The british diver Tom Daleys dad died last night aged just 40 from a Brain tumour.
Soo sad for the young Tom(17) and his family.
My son lost his mum through ms when he was just 10 years of age,so he knows how Tom must be feeling today.

I didn't know about your personal loss, mate. :(

There is such a lot of sad stuff going on lately. Yesterday, my future son-in-law's stepmum was diagnosed with cancer of the spine. She survived breast cancer fifteen years ago. And is taking some comfort from that. Brave lady.

RIP Tom's dad. :(

Life can really kick you in the bollocks some times. Had a mate drowned about a month ago. Not a very close friend but a friend al the same. A family man, only 35, with a couple young kids. Took a week to recover his body. Fucking awful to see his wife and kids on the harbour every day watching the search boats go out and come in.

Found out last night my cousin Paul (a London boy relocated to Manchester) was found dead by his mom. He had been getting treated for cancer. Again I wasn't that close to Paul but he leaves behind a family and was a nice lad.

And then I look out at the fucking junkie scum and the hoody car stealing bastards and the murdering drug dealing filth in this city just bopping along doing whatever the fuck they want, no thought for others... well, it just makes me incredibly bitter and angry.
